RIYADH, Jun 10: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Arab League, and the Arab Parliament have strongly condemned Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, describing them as serious violations of sovereignty and threats to regional stability.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry's official statement condemned what it called “brutal attacks” and “blatant violations” of the sovereignty of the three countries. It warned that the continuation of such actions threatens regional and international security and undermines ongoing efforts toward de-escalation and stability.
Similarly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (United Arab Emirates) strongly denounced the attacks, calling them a violation of international law and a threat to the security and stability of Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. It also expressed full solidarity with the affected countries and backed any measures taken to safeguard their sovereignty.
The Arab League also condemned Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, describing the strikes as “brutal” and warning they reflect an escalation that could deepen regional tensions. The League reaffirmed its solidarity with the three countries and urged efforts to de-escalate the crisis.
In a separate statement, the Arab Parliament also condemned the attacks, rejecting any attempt to undermine the security of Arab states and describing the strikes as a violation of international law and principles of good neighborly relations.
Collectively, the statements highlight growing regional concern over the escalation and renewed calls for diplomatic efforts to restore stability in the region.
