Highlights from the Arab Squash General Assembly.

MANAMA, Feb 3: The Arab Squash Federation’s General Assembly has renewed its trust in Kuwaiti Federation President Waleed Al-Sumai’i, endorsing him as President of the Arab Federation for the 2026–2030 term. The decision was made during a meeting held on the sidelines of the 31st Arab Championship in Bahrain.

The newly formed executive council includes Dr. Ali Jihad (Iraq) and Anas Al-Mutabaqani (Saudi Arabia) as Vice Presidents, along with members Yusuf Al-Abd (Egypt), Uday Draghmeh (Palestine), Dhafer Kabara (Lebanon), Shahad Al-Najada (Jordan), and Rasha Fteis (Libya).

The meeting was attended by representatives from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Bahrain, and Qatar. The financial and administrative reports were approved in the presence of Secretary-General Fayez Al-Mutairi and Treasurer Waleed Al-Mazidi.

Al-Sumai’i expressed gratitude to Bahrain for hosting the championship and meeting and thanked the assembly members for their support. He also wished success to all member countries in uthe pcoming championships across all age categories, which will be organized according to a well-planned program.
