BEIRUT, Sept 10: The 11th Arab kyokushin Championship kicked off in the Lebanese capital on Saturday with participation of the Kuwaiti national team. Secretary General of the Arab Kyokoshinkai Federation Ali Fawaz said in a statement to KUNA that the tournament is being organized despite Lebanon's extraordinary conditions.

The championship involves teams and players from Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Tunisia and Egypt. For his part, Hassan Al-Kandari, the head of the Kuwaiti team and Kuwait's Representative at the Arab federation, told KUNA THAT the Kuwaiti team comprises ten fighters, the coach Mubarak Al-Ajmi and the referee Omar Mohammad. The participating Kuwaiti champions are Dhari Al-Enezi, Saud Al-Otaibi, Tareq Hmoud, Tareq Ali, Salem Al-Rejaan, Abdullah Al-Ajmi, Abdulaziz Al-Azmi, Ahmad Abulatif Hussein, Abdullah Mohammad and Abulaziz Khalaf.
