Arab expat detained for blackmailing and extortion

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 18: Security personnel detained an expat who blackmailed a young lady to publish her private photos and videos.

A young lady approached at one of the police stations in Hawally, asking security men to help her after she received a number of phone calls from someone she did not know who illegally obtained her private video clips that were stored on her mobile phone report Al Rai. He began blackmailing her asking her for money for the for which she turned to the Ministry of Interior.

A security source told that the incident was referred to the detectives, and after necessary investigations the blackmailer was identified who turned out to be an Arab national who sneaked onto her phone and transferred her pictures and clips.
