‘Apply law to everyone, implement security plans against violators & wanted persons’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al- Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has instructed the ministry’s leaders to maintain the implementation of security strategies aimed at apprehending lawbreakers and individuals with outstanding warrants. He emphasized the need for equal enforcement of the law for all individuals. This directive was issued through a press release from the General Department of Security Relations and Media.

In a security meeting held on Sunday, chaired by Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, several assistant undersecretaries were in attendance. The meeting also included the participation of Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior. This meeting is part of the routine gatherings with ministry leaders to analyze the most recent security developments within the country. Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid expressed his appreciation for the security establishment’s leaders and discussed the ongoing security situation within the country with the assistant undersecretaries.

They also reviewed the devised plans in this regard, and Sheikh Talal offered insights to enhance measures addressing any negative occurrences. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of physical presence in the field, urging enhanced efforts, increased cooperation, and seamless coordination among all security sectors. He issued specific instructions and guidance to ensure the precision and thoroughness of their efforts. He conveyed his confidence in the Ministry of Interior staff’s capability to fulfill their designated responsibilities and encouraged them to sustain their commitment, efficiency, and preparedness at the same high level.(KUNA)
