KUWAIT CITY, May 12: The Court of Appeals upheld the ruling of a lower court, which had earlier sentenced a citizen to 10 years in prison with hard labor for engaging in fraudulent transactions concerning farms and livestock pens. Case files indicate that the defendant – a former employee of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources, impersonated a general manager to obtain money from victims in his previous workplace where he dealt with various people under a false identity. He promised the victims that they can have farms and livestock pens in exchange for KD30,000 for each transaction. By Jaber Al-Hamoud Al-Seyassah Staff
