Another Reckless Driver Arrested as Kuwait Sends One More Car to the Crusher

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 5: The General Traffic Department, represented by the Security Control Department, has arrested a motorist for reckless driving in the Al-Qurain area after a video documenting the dangerous incident was received by authorities.

The Ministry of Interior said the Security Control Department immediately launched search and investigation procedures after reviewing the footage, leading to the identification of the vehicle and its driver.

The motorist was subsequently apprehended and traffic violations were issued against him. He was then referred to the Central Prison, while the vehicle was impounded in accordance with Article 33 bis of Kuwait’s Traffic Law and sent to the crusher.

The Ministry of Interior said the action forms part of its continuing efforts to combat reckless driving and protect the safety of all road users.

Warning motorists against dangerous driving, the Ministry stressed that it will not hesitate to take legal action against anyone who endangers the lives of others on the road.
