Angry Kuwaiti parent attacks school director

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: The director’s office at a school in Hawalli Educational Zone was turned into a boxing ring in the course of a heated argument between an angry parent (a Kuwaiti) who attacked and rained insults on the director under the pretext that a teacher had beaten his son, reports Al Rai daily. The incident happened when the parent stormed the school with the aim of confronting the teacher who attacked his son. In his vain attempt to resolve the matter amicably, the parent descended on the director and hailed insults on him. The director managed to escape from the angry parent and reported the incident to officers at the area police station. A case was registered and investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of incident.

Asian robbed in Jleeb: A Bangladeshi expatriate lodged a complaint at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station against two unknown individuals who stole his wallet and mobile phone at knifepoint, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, the victim informed securitymen that he was walking home at about 11 pm when two individuals came from nowhere and stopped him. One of them held a knife to his back and they then took his wallet, which contained KD 15, and his mobile phone of an outdated version. Securitymen took necessary action.

Driver flees with car: Ahmadi Police Station has circulated the description of a 2015 Japanese-made saloon car, and requested all security patrols to seize the car and arrest any person found in it, reports Al Anba daily. This follows a complaint filed by a citizen accusing his Indian house driver, Yahya, who served him for six years of betraying his trust. Yahya allegedly stole the car, and his mobile phone has been switched off.

Wanted Kuwaiti nabbed: The Ahmadi police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti who had been sentenced in absentia to one year imprisonment, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspect, who was caught in Fintas, has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
