Amiri Diwan receives Tajikistan and Egyptian ambassadors

KUWAIT CITY, May 12: Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah received on Tuesday, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the country. During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations between Kuwait and Tajikistan and discussed means of enhancing cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples. The minister praised the ambassador’s efforts during his tenure in Kuwait and his role in strengthening bilateral relations and communication among accredited diplomatic missions in his capacity as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, wishing him continued success in future assignments.

Sheikh Hamad also received Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Aboulwafa, with both sides reviewing the historic relations between the two countries and their close cooperation across various fields while discussing means of further strengthening bilateral ties. The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest, affirming the importance of continuing coordination and supporting efforts aimed at enhancing regional security and stability while serving the mutual interests of both countries.(KUNA)
