NEW YORK, Sept 23 : The Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, participated Tuesday in a joint high-level summit hosted by US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. The meeting convened leaders and heads of delegation from GCC states, Jordan, and broader Arab and Islamic nations participating in the UN High-Level Week to address critical security challenges across the Middle East. Discussions focused on regional security threats, including Iranian attacks targeting regional states, maritime navigation safety in strategic international waterways, global energy supply stability, and the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip. Participating leaders underscored the vital importance of the strategic partnership and continuous coordination with the United States to reinforce regional and global security, support immediate de-escalation efforts, and advance a comprehensive and just peace framework across the region. (KUNA)
