KUWAIT CITY, March 7, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received the visiting Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace Tuesday. His Highness the Amir met Sharif in presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al- SabahDuring the meeting, the two sides reviewed their good bilateral ties and ways to bolster them in all fields, and attain their joint aspirations.They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, and Head of the Honorary Mission, Advisor at the Prime Minister Diwan Dr Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-SabahHH the PM and his Pakistani counterpart hold official talksHis Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif co-chaired at Bayan Palace Tuesday official talks between the two countries. The talks focused on bolstering relations on all possible levels and it also touched on issues of regional and international importance in addition to issues of mutual interest.The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohamad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Head of the honorary delegation and Advisor at the Prime Minister Diwan Dr Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Oil and Minister of Water and Electricity Essam Al-Marzouq, Undersecretary at the Prime Minister Diwan Sheikh Fahad Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Pakistan Nasser Al-Mutairi, senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Public Authority for Investment (PAI), and His Highness the Prime Minister Diwan. Sharif and his accompanying delegation arrived to Kuwait Tuesday on a two-day official visit upon an invitation by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.During the reception ceremony held at Bayan Palace, Sharif met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Head of the honor accompanying mission Advisor at His Highness the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikh Dr Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.The Pakistani Prime Minister also met with Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Esam Abdulmehsen Al-Marzouq in addition to a number of Sheikhs and Ministers, along with senior army, police, and Kuwait National Guard (KNG) officers, diplomats, as well as Ambassador of Kuwait to Pakistan Nassar Abdulrahman Al-Murairi.Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim met with the visiting Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his accompanying delegation in his office Tuesday. During the meeting, the two sides discussed their bilateral ties and ways to boost them in all fields and on all levels to attain the aspirations and interests of their countries and people.They also discussed recent developments of the situations on regional and international arenas, and exchanged views on a number of issues of joint interest.The meeting was attended by Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee MP Ali Salem Al-Deqbasi, Rapporteur of the Foreign Affairs Committee MP Yusuf Al-Fadalah, and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Pakistan Nassar Al-Mutairi. Prime Minister Sharif and his accompanying delegation have since left Kuwait after a two-day official visit.He was seen off at Kuwait International Airport by Head of the Honorary Mission, Advisor at the Prime Minister Diwan Dr Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti Ambassador in Islamabad and Pakistani Ambassador in Kuwait as well as several senior officials of His Highness the Prime Minister’s Diwan.Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif received at his residence in Bayan Palace Chairman of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Ali Thnayyan Al-Ghanem in addition to other chamber officials.
