HH the Amir receives Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait and newly-appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Awatif Abdullatif Al-Sanad
KUWAIT CITY, July 6: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait on Monday, who introduced the newly appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Awatif Abdullatif Al-Sanad. His Highness the Amir also received Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei and senior Ministry of Education officials on Monday. During the meeting, they presented a report on the first-round examinations for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year for 10th, 11th and 12th grade students. His Highness congratulated the officials on the successful conclusion of the current academic year, commending the efforts of all Ministry of Education personnel, particularly teachers, whom he described as the cornerstone of the educational process. His Highness also outlined directives aimed at advancing the education sector, stressing the importance of field follow-up to identify and address challenges, early preparations for the upcoming academic year through the qualification of educational staff and the readiness of schools and facilities
Further, His Highness also underscored the need to strengthen national identity values, enhance students’ creativity and innovation skills, improve the school environment, and expand the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to prepare future generations capable of competing and contributing to the country’s development. Separately, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al- Hamad Al-Sabah received Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei and senior Ministry of Education officials on Monday, who presented a report on the progress of examinations for grades 10 through 12 for the 2025/2026 academic year.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the organization of the examinations and the measures taken by the ministry to ensure their smooth conduct across all educational districts, including the technical and administrative preparations made to provide a suitable environment for students. His Highness commended the sincere efforts of the Ministry of Education, its leadership, and the educational and administrative staff in overseeing the examinations and ensuring appropriate conditions for students. The Crown Prince stressed the importance of continuing to work with a strong sense of responsibility and prioritizing students’ interests in a way that enhances the quality of education and its outcomes, wishing education officials and all students continued success and excellence. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al- Sabah also received Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait on Monday, who introduced the newly-appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Awatif Abdullatif Al-Sanad.
