Amir oversees National Guard preparedness amid military drill

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27 : Kuwait’s National Guard on Tuesday held a military exercise under the watchful eye of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as he closely monitored their level of preparedness to deal with any potential emergencies. Hailing His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces’ visit as a noble gesture, a National Guard statement said that his mere presence served as motivation for the Kuwaiti paramilitary forces to do their utmost in efforts to protect the nation. The military drill entailed special exercises that aim to boost the National Guard’s capabilities in responding promptly to any security emergencies, added the statement. (KUNA)
