KUWAIT CITY, Jun 13: In a compassionate move, His Highness the Amir has ordered the preparation of planes to repatriate the bodies of deceased Indian nationals back to their homeland, also in a gesture of deep sympathy and support, financial amounts will be disbursed to the families of those deceased. In a recent announcement, the Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, confirmed this directive.

First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and Minister of Defense Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef reported that authorities had identified 48 bodies, among which 45 are of Indian nationality and 3 are of Filipino nationality. Efforts are still underway to determine the identity of the last body.

In other developments, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef revealed that new legislation will soon be introduced to address property violations. In collaboration with the Minister of Municipality, these regulations will enable the immediate removal of violations without prior warning. The legislation is expected to be enacted within the next two weeks.

The Minister also noted receiving numerous calls from property owners requesting a 48-hour period to address violations on their properties. Despite these requests, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef emphasized that enforcement campaigns will continue without interruption.
