Amir of Kuwait Leaves for US for Routine Medical Checkup

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah departed the country for the United States on Friday to undergo routine medical examinations, according to an official announcement.

His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, along with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, were at the forefront of those bidding farewell to the Amir before his departure.

Also present to see off His Highness were Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The visit is for the Amir's customary medical examinations in the United States.
