Amir leaves hospital after successful checkups

Deep gratitude to all well-wishers

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah left a US hospital on Thursday evening after having successful checkups.

Thankfully, the checkups showed reassuring results, Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah said, praying for God to keep His Highness the Amir in good health. His Highness the Amir received on Thursday a phone call from Iraq President Dr Barham Saleh who inquired about His Highness the Amir’s health and the results of the recent checkups. His Highness the Amir reassured the Iraqi leader that he was fine after the checkups and thanked him for his sincere feelings.

He appreciated the kind initiative of the Iraqi president, which indicates the depth of the sisterly ties between both countries, expressing best wishes for the president and the brotherly people of Iraq.

His Highness the Amir expressed gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, over his well-wisher after he underwent medical examinations in a US Hospital. His Highness the Amir also thanked National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Deputy Commander of the National Guard Sheikh Meshaal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al- Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir also thanked Chairman of Kuwait’s Supreme Judicial Council and the Cassation Court, and President of the Constitutional Court, Justice Yousef Jassem Al-Mutawaa, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

In addition to ministers and members of the National Assembly and all citizens and residents of Kuwait and those in charge of the various media houses. His Highness expressed his sincere gratitude to Arab leaders as well as various political figures from different countries. His Highness asked the Almighty God to grant everyone good health and for Kuwait to have sustained security and prosperity
