KUWAIT CITY, April 1: Ambassador of India to Kuwait, H.E. Dr. Adarsh Swaika inaugurated a new Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) at Jahra, Kuwait on 1 April 2024, says a press release issued by the embassy. The new ICAC will also be managed by embassy’s outsourcing partner M/s BLS International. The Jahra ICAC will be the 4th such ICAC in Kuwait. The other three are in Kuwait City, Fahaheel and Jleeb.

2. Starting from 1 April 2024, the Consular, Passport and Visa services will operate as per the details indicated below:-

3. The Jahra ICAC is another step towards facilitating Indian visas for Kuwaitis as well as various consular services for Indian nationals (including Amnesty-related travel documents) residing in areas of Jahra and its neighbouring areas upto Abdali. The new facility is expected to further streamline the application process, reduce waiting time, and ensure a seamless experience for all applicants. It is part of Government of India’s steadfast commitment to make public services more accessible, hassle-free and technology-driven.
