Great passion motivates her in mastering the art
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: Amani Al-Hajji is the first Kuwaiti woman to enter the field of opera with her beautiful voice; in fact, she is also considered the first opera singer from the Arabian Gulf countries, reports Al-Qabas daily. It is her great passion and love for this ancient art that motivated the opera singer and actress Amani Al-Hajji to dedicate herself to mastering this art, fighting both personal and professional odds to pursue her calling.

She refined her inimitable talent by joining the Higher Institute for Musical Arts in the mideighties, where she combined her love for opera with her study of the basics of singing and art performance.
Afterwards, she turned to teaching at the institute for several years after graduation to take on the responsibility of training a new generation of singers particularly in opera. Al-Hajji has participated in concerts in the Egyptian Opera House several times, and was an example of the artistic creativity of Kuwaiti women in several international forums.
