DOHA, Mar 22: : Authorities in Qatar have confirmed that all seven individuals aboard a helicopter that crashed in the country’s territorial waters have been found dead, bringing search and rescue operations to a close.
The Qatar Ministry of Interior announced that the seventh and final missing person was recovered during ongoing search efforts, confirming there were no survivors in the incident.
Earlier, officials had reported that six victims had been retrieved and declared deceased, while intensive operations continued to locate the last missing individual.
The Ministry expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, offering prayers for the deceased and strength to their loved ones during this difficult time.
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the cause of the crash, with investigations expected to follow.
