Al Majed and Bukhamseen stand in the middle of the Grand Prix champions.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: Kuwait Equestrian Club's rider, Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi, emerged victorious in the show jumping championship at Marina Beach, competing against over 500 male and female horsemen. In the Grand Prix race, where the jumps measured 140-145 cm, Al-Kharafi and fellow rider Fawaz Al-Subaie progressed to a distinctive round. Ultimately, Al-Kharafi claimed the first-place title with a flawless performance, completing the course in 49.35 seconds without incurring any penalty points. Al-Subaie secured the second position with a time of 47.15 seconds but with 4 penalty points.

The awards ceremony, presided over by Ahmed Al-Majed, Executive Director of SAFX, and Anwar Bukhamseen, a member of the Board of Directors of Kuwait International Bank (the tournament's sponsor), saw champions being crowned. Yara Al-Hunaidi, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Ghazi Al-Jariwi, and Anaz Al-Anaz were among the notable participants.

Expressing joy at winning the inaugural tournament at Marina Beach, Al-Fares Al-Kharafi dedicated the victory to the Kuwait Equestrian Club and all show jumping enthusiasts in Kuwait.

Ahmed Al-Majed, Executive Director of SAFEX Company, highlighted the continuous development of equestrian sports and the commitment to organizing exceptional tournaments. He emphasized the significance of hosting the event on the Gulf shore, showcasing Kuwait's ability to organize such prestigious competitions. Al-Majed further revealed plans for upcoming international tournaments, including a three-star event qualifying for the World Cup in two weeks, followed by a two-star international tournament.
