KUWAIT CITY, Oct 30: Al-Yarmouk was crowned champion of the third edition of the Futsal Cup after an exciting 8-7 victory over Kuwait Club in the final held at Al-Shabab Club’s indoor hall.
The match delivered plenty of drama and intensity, with both sides showing strong determination and high energy that kept the crowd on edge throughout.
Al-Yarmouk started strong, finishing the first half ahead 4-3, and despite heavy pressure from Kuwait Club in the second half, the team’s solid defense held firm to secure the win and the historic title.
On its way to the final, Al-Yarmouk defeated Kazma in the semifinals, while Kuwait Club beat Al-Arabi.
The triumph marks Al-Yarmouk’s first Futsal Cup title, placing them alongside Kuwait Club and Al-Arabi, who have each lifted the trophy once before.
