KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: During his doctoral discussion at the Faculty of Arts at Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Kuwaiti researcher Khaled Al-Tarkait began his discussion with an influential introduction about the events in Gaza and the scourge of escalating violence towards the Palestinians, breaking the usual protocol of scientific discussions in an interaction that was well received by the audience.

The discussion ended with the researcher being awarded a doctoral degree with first class honors. Researcher Al-Tarkait discussed his doctoral thesis entitled “The Impact of the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry’s Communication Activities on Improving the Mental Image of the Kuwaiti Community in Egypt During Crises.”

In the context of the discussion, Al-Tarkait stressed the importance of knowledge and that the rise of the status of nations depends on knowledge, and expressed his heartbreak at what the Palestinians are witnessing from the Israeli occupier.

The committee approved the thesis and awarded the researcher a doctoral degree with first class honors. The discussion committee was formed from Professor Dr. Aida Al-Sakhawy, Professor of Media, Mansoura University, Professor Dr. Mohamed Hosni Mahrous, Assistant Professor of Public Relations and Head of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising, Al-Azhar University, and Professor Dr. Magdy Al-Dagher, Assistant Professor of Communication Technology, Mansoura University.
