KUWAIT CITY, March 2: Today, two exciting matches are scheduled in the ongoing Federation Cup Volleyball Championship for the 2023-2024 season at 5:15 pm., Al-Tadamon and Al-Arabi will face off, followed by a match between Al-Sahel and Al-Shabab at 7:15 pm. Both contests will take place at Al-Ittihad Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex.
The tournament kicked off two days ago, featuring a decisive victory by Yarmouk over Sulaibikhat, securing a three-game sweep. This result advanced Yarmouk to the next stage while eliminating Sulaibikhat from the competition. The competition will run until the 21st of this month, with a total of nine clubs participating.
In a noteworthy achievement last Thursday, the Kuwait Club youth team clinched the Federation Cup championship title by triumphing over Al-Arabi in the final match with a three-games-to-one score. Al-Qadisiya secured the third-place position after a similar victory over Kazma.
Following the championship match, Musleh Al-Rashidi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Volleyball Federation, along with Hussein Al-Roumi, Director of the Al-Arabi Team, and Jassem Al-Nabhan, Director of Al-Qadisiyah e=, proudly crowned the winning teams in the first three places.
