KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: The General Traffic Department has announced the closure of one and a half lanes on Al-Taawon Street for vehicles coming from Jassim Al-Kharafi Road (Sixth Ring Road) and King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud Road (Fahaheel), extending to the intersection with Ali Thunayyan Al-Uthaina Street toward Al-Bidaa Roundabout. The closure will take effect from Tuesday, January 6, 2026, and will remain in place until the completion of the required road maintenance works.
The department has urged motorists to exercise caution, comply with traffic diversions and posted speed limits, and cooperate with traffic officers deployed at the site to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of all road users during the maintenance period.
