KUWAIT CITY, Jan 29: The first basketball team of Al-Qadisiya Club secured a significant triumph against Al-Tadamon with a commanding score of 101-54 at Al-Ittihad Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex, marking the fourth round of the second division of the league. Concurrently, Al-Sulaibikhat also celebrated a victorious outcome, prevailing over Al-Nasr with a final score of 82-74. These outcomes propelled Al- Qadisiya to a total of 23 points, while Al-Tadamon trailed with 13 points. Al-Sulaibikhat, likewise, bolstered its chances of securing a spot in the semi-finals by accumulating 21 points, as opposed to Al-Nasr's 16 points.

The league's structure comprises two segments, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals after the conclusion of the second section to vie for the championship.Al-Qadisiya asserted control over the match effortlessly from the onset, concluding the initial quarter at 26-16, the second at 57-26, and the third at 72-43, ultimately sealing the victory at 101-55. Leading the scoring for Al-Qadisiya were Muhammad Ashkanani with 16 points, Mohsen Mortada with 15 points, and Nawaf Al-Anzi with 14 points.

In the subsequent game, Sulaibikhat continued to showcase robust performances under the guidance of national coach Fahd Barjas, aspiring to guide the team to the semi-finals.Al-Sulaibikhat displayed dominance early on, finishing the first quarter with a lead of 22-11 and the second at 40-29. The final quarter saw Al-Sulaibikhat solidify their triumph, securing an 82-74 win. Notably, American professionals Alexnir and Colbert stood out for Al-Sulaibikhat, contributing 24 points each to the team's scoring effort.
