KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: The Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications Affairs Fahd Al-Shoula, has issued a ministerial decree mandating the establishment of an investigation committee with the primary purpose to scrutinize a case of financial fraud, specifically in the disbursement of allowances, within the Kuwait Ports Authority.
The decision to form this committee was made in response to a formal request from the Audit Bureau, reports Al-Rai.
Al-Shoula has appointed a group of advisors who will be responsible for leading the committee's investigation and ensuring that all necessary actions are taken in response to the Audit Bureau's request.
