Al-Shatti begins mission with Al Arabi as Al Qadisia receives Wadi boost

KUWAIT CITY, April 3: Al-Qadisiya’s Mubarak Al-Fanini, returns from the Qatari Aspetar Clinic, concluding a treatment program he attended since mid-March last year for a muscle injury. Al-Fanini's absence was notable in Al-Qadisiya's recent match against Al-Fahaheel in the second round of the Zain Premier League (championship group), where the team secured a decisive victory with a score of 5-2.

Meanwhile, defender Yousef Al-Haqqan has commenced specialized training for his rehabilitation following an injury he sustained last March.

The likelihood of both Al-Fanini and Al-Haqqan participating in the upcoming "Derby" match scheduled for next Sunday in the third round of the league seems slim.

In other news, Abdulaziz Wadi has rejoined group training and is poised to participate against Al-Arabi after recovering from an injury that sidelined him during the last match against Al-Fahaheel.

On the coaching front, Muhammad Al-Mishaan, the coach of Al-Qadisiya, has been emphasizing defensive strategies in recent training sessions following lapses in organization that led to conceding four goals in matches against Al-Salmiya and Al-Fahaheel.

At Al-Arabi,l coach Nasser Al-Shatti has conducted his first training session with Al-Akhdar after being appointed to lead the team, succeeding Bosnian Darko Nestorovic, who was dismissed following a 1-1 draw with Al-Salmiya in the second round of the Championship Group League.

Al-Shatti has urged players to enhance their focus and dedication in training sessions to achieve the positive results necessary for competing for the title.

Regarding his dismissal, Darko stated, "The decision to dismiss me was due to the dissatisfaction of the Al-Arabi Board of Directors with the result of the draw with Al Salmiya. There are no problems between me and the player Abdul Rahman Al Dhafiri."

It's worth mentioning that Al-Dhafiri had a standout performance this season at Al-Arabi before being replaced by Ali Aziz on the list of foreign-born Kuwaiti players.

Darko clarified, "I have not received an offer from a Saudi club. I did not inform Al-Arabi about this matter. I led Al-Arabi in 13 league matches and lost only once."
