Al-Shabab Sport Club won Sunday Kuwait Karate Federation’s championship, which featured participation of 571 karaketas from 11 clubs. Al-Shabab collected 44 points to lead the general standing, four points over Al-Yarmouk. Salmiya came third with 21 points. Menahi Al-Fadhli, Kuwait Karate Federation’s Acting President, said the championship aimed at developing skills of the karaketas with the objective of representing their country in the national team. The federation, he said in a statement, was increasing number of tournaments for all age categories. Pictured above are the players receiving a trophy from an official.
