Al-Sahli highlights sports journalism professionalism at Kuwait University

Kuwait University officials honored Dr. Al-Sahli in recognition of his contributions during the 'Professionalism in University Sports Media' workshop.

KUWAIT CITY, July 23: Dr. Sattam Al-Sahli, Director of Media at the Kuwait Football Association, delivered a lecture at Kuwait University during a workshop titled "Professionalism in University Sports Media," organized by the university's Sports Activities Department.

The workshop explored the media's role in supporting university sports, improving communication with media outlets, handling media crises, and promoting professional standards in the management and coverage of sporting events.

A sports photography exhibition was held alongside the event, showcasing works by Kuwait Football Association photographer Abdulrahman Al-Ali.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Al-Sahli thanked Kuwait University, especially Acting Director of Sports Activities Dr. Tariq Dashti and Acting Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Salem Al-Shammari, for organizing the event and creating a platform to exchange knowledge and practical experience.

He said such initiatives help strengthen professional media skills, develop national talent, and improve the quality of sports media coverage in line with Kuwait University's commitment to excellence and continuous development.
