Al-Jarawi and Al-Kazemi celebrate their Grand Prix victory on the podium.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: International rider and Kuwait Equestrian Club standout Fawaz Al-Rashed continued his fine form on the international show jumping circuit, claiming his second title in the space of a week after winning the Kuwait International Show Jumping Championship.

The championship was staged at the Kuwait Equestrian Center track in Subhan and attracted top riders from Arab, Gulf, and European countries. In the main class, set at a height of 145cm, Al-Rashed secured first place ahead of Dalia Al-Zahham, Latifa Al-Hajri, Abdulrahman Al-Fazie, Madi Al-Khamis, Anaz Al-Anaz, and Rakan Al-Hasawi. The awards ceremony was conducted by Kuwait Equestrian Federation Vice President Shaqer Al-Kazemi and Secretary General Ghazi Al-Jarawi.

Al-Rashed expressed his happiness at capturing the international title just one week after his victory at the Sahara Resort International Championship, dedicating the achievement to the management of the Kuwait Equestrian Club.

The Kuwaiti rider has also enjoyed recent success with the national team, earning the silver medal in the team event at the Asian Show Jumping Championship in Pattaya, Thailand, alongside Ali Al-Kharafi, Anaz Al-Anaz, and Yara Al-Hunaidi.

Elsewhere in the competition, Ali Al-Kharafi claimed the Grand Prize in the 140cm category on the opening day, while Italian rider Cora Basile topped the 130cm intermediate class. Abdullah Al-Gharbelli won the 120cm small prize event, and Anaz Al-Anaz finished first in the 105cm class.
