KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Al-Qurain Club emerged as the victor in the sixteenth edition of the Al-Ittihad Open Squash Championship, at the Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah International Complex in South Surra. Accumulating a total of 1,590 points, Al-Qurain secured three points in the General Excellence Cup. Khaitan claimed the second position with 1,110 points and earned two points in the Excellence Cup, while Yarmouk secured the third spot with 905 points and one point in the Excellence Cup. Following the final match, Secretary General Hamed Al-Omran awarded cups and medals to outstanding players and federation members, including Adel Al-Gharib and Ahmed Al-Adwani.

Ammar Muhammad from Yarmouk clinched the championship title, Abdul Rahman Al-Maghribi of Al-Qurain emerged victorious in the under-19 category, and Abdullah Hani, also from Al-Qurain, claimed the top spot in the under-17 category.

In the U-15 category, Abdullah Hani and Mahdi Osama of Al-Qurain secured the first position. Saleh Al-Kandari from Khaitan took the title in the 13-year-old category, and in the U-11 category, the promising Al-Qurain player, Salman Muhammad Al-Saleh, showcased his talent and earned the gold.

In the women's category, Basmala Al-Shami of Al-Arabi won the gold, Aisha Al-Mithen from Al-Qurain secured the second position, while the bronze went to Sarah Al-Ali (Kuwait) and Wasan Al-Aoun (Al-Qurain).
