KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: Due to the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex being occupied by the Public Authority for Sports, the Handball Association has moved the League "merger" matches to the senior category. The third and fourth rounds will now take place at the Kuwait Club Hall in Kaifan, with matches returning to the "Al-Saad" Hall starting from the fifth round on the 29th of this month.

Today's schedule for the third round includes two matches. At 5:00 pm, Al-Qurain, currently in tenth place with no points, will face Kazma, the league leader with four points. This will be followed at 6:30 pm by a match between Al-Fahaheel, ranked seventh with two points, and Kuwait Club, in third place with four points.

The round concludes on Monday, with Al-Tadamon, last place with no points, taking on Burqan, who is eighth with two points. Additionally, Yarmouk, currently twelfth with no points, will meet Al-Qadsiya, in eleventh place, also without points, in a match that will secure the first win for one of the teams.

Today's matches promise to be highly competitive. Despite losing its first two games, Al-Qurain will not be an easy opponent for Kazma, who lead the standings by goal difference over Al-Salmiya, Kuwait Club, Al-Nasr, and Al-Arabi. Al-Qurain may pull off a surprise by either winning or securing its first point in the league. On the other hand, Kazma is aiming to extend its winning streak and maintain its position at the top. The second match is equally important. Al-Fahaheel, with one win and one loss, will face a strong challenge from Kuwait Club, which is determined to continue collecting points to defend its title, which it has held for 12 consecutive years.
