KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: The Zain Premier League will be temporarily suspended until November 25, owing to Al-Arabi and Kuwait's involvement in the AFC Cup competitions and the Kuwaiti national team's participation in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup after the seventh round matches.
Al-Shabab face Al-Jahra at 7:00 pm today.

The round will conclude with two matches tomorrow. The first match will see Al-Salmiya go up against Khaitan at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium at 5:30 pm, followed by Kazma against Al-Qadsia at the Friendship and Peace Stadium at 8:28 pm.

The match between Al-Qadsia and Kazma is one of the standout fixtures of this round. Al- Qadsia, with 12 points, face Kazma, which have 10 points. However, Al-Qadsia will play this match without their fans, following a decision from the Football Association's Disciplinary Committee due to incidents that occurred during their match against Kuwait in the previous round.

Both teams appear to be evenly matched, with Al-Qadsia performing impressively against the league leaders in the last round, coming close to victory but settling for a draw. Winning this match is crucial for Al-Qadsia’s coach, Muhammad Ibrahim, to maintain their position among the top teams and keep their title aspirations alive.

On the other hand, Kazma aim to continue their good performances and secure a second consecutive victory after a convincing win over Khaitan in the previous round. Kazma have experienced some inconsistency, as their victory against Khaitan came after a loss to Al-Shabab in the fifth round.

In the second match scheduled for tomorrow, Al Salmiya, with 9 points, look to maintain their recent form with a fourth victory and get closer to the league leaders. Meanwhile, Khaitan, with 5 points, hope to regain their early-season form and confidence.

Al-Shabab, with 5 points, are looking to capitalize on the struggles of their opponents and secure their second victory in the competition. Al-Jahra, currently at the bottom of the standings with 1 point, hopes that this match will serve as a turning point for their team, as any result other than a win would put them in a challenging position.
