Al-Qadsia player delivers a powerful spike as an opponent defends.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: Al-Qadsia ended Al-Sulaibikhat’s impressive run, defeating them 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-17)   at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex Volleyball Hall. The victory moved Al-Qadsia into third place with 13 points, overtaking Al-Sulaibikhat, who fell to fourth with 11 points.

Al-Sulaibikhat had started the league strongly, recording four consecutive wins over Al-Nasr, Al-Yarmouk, Al-Arabi, and Al-Kuwait, before Al-Qadsia brought their streak to a halt, ending the “Red North” team’s run.

In another closely contested match, Al-Arabi edged past Al-Shabab 3-2 (25-23, 24-25, 25-27, 25-22, 15-13) in a thrilling marathon game at the same venue. The win raised Al-Arabi to 15 points, temporarily claiming first place, while Al-Shabab remains sixth with 7 points.
