KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: Today marks the commencement of the twelfth round of the Zain Premier League with two exciting matches. The first clash at Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium features Al-Qadsia facing off against Al-Fahaheel at 4:10 pm, followed by the second match between Al-Arabi and Khaitan at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium at 6:50 pm.

The action continues tomorrow with two matches. Al-Shabab takes on Al-Nasr at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium at 4:10 pm. in the first match, and the second match sees Al-Salmiya and Al-Kuwait meeting at Thamer Stadium at 6:50 pm.The round concludes on Sunday with a lone match at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium at 5:30 p.m., where Al-Jahra faces off against Kazma.

Al-Kuwait leads Al-Arabi on goal difference with 26 points. Al-Qadsia in the third position with 25 points, while Al-Nasr holds the fourth spot with 17 points. The rest of the standings include Al-Salmiya in fifth with 15 points, Kazma with 13 points, Al-Fahaheel with 12, Al-Shabab with 11, and Khaitan with 6 points. Al-Jahra sits in tenth and last place with only two points.

In the first match, Al-Qadsia aims to maintain pressure on the top two teams and assert its dominance over Al-Fahaheel, having previously defeated them 3-0 in the first division. The team is currently guided by Serbian assistant coaches Degan Arsov and Saleh Al-Sheikh due to the health issues of head coach Muhammad Ibrahim.

The second match features Al-Arabi, determined to continue its winning streak despite a tough battle in the last round against Al-Shabab, securing victory with a lone goal in stoppage time.

In notable clashes, Al-Kuwait seeks to extend its winning streak and pursue the league title with high morale following a significant victory over Kazma in the previous round. Al-Salmiya aims for redemption against Al-Kuwait, looking to avenge their earlier defeat and return to the winning track after a series of draws.

Al-Nasr aims to sustain its recovery momentum in Saturday's encounter, while Al-Shabab seeks to collect valuable points and return to Al-Ahmadi with a positive result.

In the final match, Kazma, under new coach Mohamed Dehelis, aims for a long-awaited victory against bottom-ranked Al-Jahra, who despite defeats, has displayed convincing performances.
