KUWAIT CITY, May 25: Al-Qadisiya has renewed the contract of its Libyan professional, Mohamed Soula, for two seasons for one million dollars. Additionally, they have extended Nigerian Daniel Gebula’s contract for another season.
Soula’s performance this season has not been convincing in many matches, showing a significant decline from his form with Al-Arabi two seasons ago. This led Al-Qadisiya to negotiate a reduction in his contract value from 750 thousand dollars per season.
Al-Qadisiya decided against renewing the contract of Malian player Ibrahima Tandia due to his excessive demands for a higher contract value. Tandia left last Thursday and did not play in the team’s recent match against Kuwait in the Zain Premier League. Reports suggest he has received an offer from a Saudi club.
Sources indicate that Argentine Sergio Vitor has agreed to join the Kuwait Club for the next season, while Omani Abdullah Fawaz has been excluded from Al-Qadisiya’s plans due to his lackluster performance.
Several local players may also be dropped from Coach Muhammad Al-Mashaan’s plans for the next season due to their lack of impact. These players include Sultan Salbukh, Abdullah Al-Shamali, Talal Al-Ansari, Nayef Zuwaid, Abdul-Hadi Khamis, Mishal Khaled, Aziz Nassar, and Ahmed Shabib.
