Al-Qadisiya player makes a goal attempt as the Kuwait Club player tries to block the shot.

KUWAIT CITY, March 27: Al-Qadisiya's made a decisive statement in the summit clash of the sixth round of the handball league at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex hall, by defeating the defending champion,  Kuwait Club 32-30. This victory marked the first loss for "Al-Abyad" in the league so far. The "Yellow" team displayed a robust performance with the majority of players shining, while their Macedonian coach, Zoran Katsratovic, played a pivotal role in thwarting the opponent's strategies and securing two crucial points in the match.

Following the conclusion of the sixth round, the league standings are as follows: Al-Salmiya leads alone with 12 points, followed by Kazma with 10 points, and Al-Kuwait and Al-Arabi each with eight points. Al-Fahaheel follows closely with six points, while Al-Sulaibkhat, Al-Qurain, Burgan, Al-Nasr, and Al-Qadisiya all have five points. Al-Yarmouk stands at three points, with Khaitan trailing behind with two points. Al-Sahel and Al-Tadamon are currently at the bottom of the standings without any points.

The seventh round of the handball league kicks off today, Thursday, and will continue until next Sunday. Yarmouk will face Al-Qurain at 8:30 pm, followed by Al-Salmiya's match against Al-Nasr at 10 pm.

It's worth noting that after the General League, the top six teams will qualify to compete in the Premier League, while the remaining teams will participate in the First Division League.
