At the end of the 8th Asian Shotgun and 11th Asian Airgun Championships, which concluded Monday at the Olympic shooting Complex of Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, Chairman of the Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Duaij Al-Otaibi expressed profound appreciation and deep gratitude toward those who participated in the event, and in particular those who won in the championship.In a press statement, Al-Otaibi affirmed that Kuwait’s performance in the championship was distinguished, which enabled the national team shooters to top the list of skeet, double trap and trap contests – an indication that sports in Kuwait continues to thrive due to tireless efforts of the board of Kuwait Shooting Club, its personnel and shooters.Al-Otaibi also expressed appreciation and gratitude to HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad and HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak and all ministries, authorities and institutions that contributed to ensure success of the championship, which hosted more than 600 shooters represented by 35 countries across Asia.
