KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2: Youssef Al-Nuaimi of Al-Joun Equestrian Center captured the first round of the fifth edition of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League at the Kuwait Equestrian Center in Subhan, featuring riders from clubs across the country.
In the Grand Prix (140 cm), Al-Nuaimi rode Hammer to victory with a fastest time of 42.44 seconds and zero penalties in the jump-off, edging out competitors Nick Channing (42.74), Abdullah Al-Roudhan (43.45), Fawaz Al-Subaie, Rakan Al-Hasawi, and Steven Daniels.
In other categories, Amer Al-Shatti won the medium event (130 cm), while Mohammed Al-Shammari took top honors in the small event (120 cm).
The opening day also saw Khaled Al-Khubizi of the Hunting Club win the 135 cm Grand Prix, Ghazi Al-Fulaij claim the medium 125 cm class, and Ammar Askar secure first place in the 115 cm category.
The championship’s judging panel was led by Kuwaiti international judge Raghad Waleed Al-Dabbous.
