KUWAIT CITY, July 9: Al-Nasr handball team coach Manawer Dahash revealed that the club’s coaching staff for all age groups will arrive in Kuwait at the start of August, ahead of preparations for the 2026-27 season.

Dahash said the club’s management has completed its coaching structure early, extending the contract of Bosnian head coach Davor after the team’s positive performances under his guidance.

The club has also appointed Tunisian Mohamed Ali as goalkeeping coach, while compatriots Emad Eddine and Hossam Eddine will take charge of the U-17 and U-15 teams, respectively. Egyptian coach Mohamed Saeed has been named to lead the U-13 squad.

He added that the arrival of the technical staff will allow the teams to begin preparations according to a detailed program focused on improving players’ physical and technical levels, assessing young talents, and developing a strong foundation to support the first team in future seasons.

On the foreign player file, Dahash said the coaching staff is reviewing several profiles from different handball backgrounds to select reinforcements that match the team’s needs. He stressed that any signings will be made based on strict technical criteria and to help Al-Nasr compete for trophies in the upcoming season.

Dahash also praised the club’s early preparations, saying the management is working to finalize all requirements ahead of the new campaign and ensure the teams enter competitions at their highest level.
