KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: Zaher Al-Adwani, the coach of Al-Nasr, expressed concern over the significant loss to Al-Arabi (3-6) in the recent round, emphasizing the need for prompt correction of identified issues. Al-Adwani hopes that his team will secure a position among the top six by the end of the second round, acknowledging that certain administrative matters beyond Al-Nasr’s control, particularly related to financial issues and legal cases against the Board of Directors, have contributed to the team’s challenges.
Al-Adwani highlighted the abnormal number of goals conceded against Al-Arabi and assured that he will work closely with the players to address defensive vulnerabilities in upcoming matches.Meanwhile, Salmiya’s Croatian coach, Ante Misha, described the draw against Khaitan (0-0) as fair for both teams. Misha recognized Khaitan’s effective defensive strategy, noting his team’s efforts to penetrate the opponent’s defense.
Looking ahead, the Zain Premier League’s twelfth round features two matches. Al-Tadamon will face Sulaibikhat at Al-Awwal Stadium, while Burgan and Al-Sahel will meet at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium. Both matches are scheduled for 6:05 pm. Yarmouk will be absent from this round.
