KUWAIT CITY, July 23: Al-Nasr has added three local players to its first-team volleyball squad as part of its preparations for the 2026-27 season.
The club secured the services of Mohammed Al-Bahri from Burgan, Ali Al-Marhoon from Al-Qadsiya, and Nawaf Al-Balushi from Al-Arabi to strengthen the team ahead of the new campaign.
The latest moves are part of Al-Nasr’s plan to reinforce the squad with quality talent, improve its technical capabilities, and increase its chances of competing for domestic honours.
The “Red” team has also maintained continuity by renewing the contract of Montenegrin head coach Darko, as the club looks to preserve technical stability and build on its ambitions for the upcoming season.
Al-Nasr has further boosted its roster with the addition of foreign players Cuban Kelly Bryant and Brazilian Renan Salton, bringing more experience and depth to the squad.
The club had earlier completed local deals for Jassim Al-Sabbaghah, who will occupy the No. 4 position, and Mohammed Al-Ali in the setter role.
First-team volleyball manager Mohammed Al-Daihani said the new arrivals will play an important role in strengthening Al-Nasr’s squad.
He added that the management carefully selected players capable of raising the team’s performance level and helping the club remain a strong contender for all domestic titles next season.
