Al-Arabi management and players celebrate the Crown Prince Cup with fans.

KUWAIT CITY, May 19: Al-Arabi SC board secretary Fawad Al-Muzayni described winning the His Highness the Crown Prince Cup as “a joy that cannot be described,” saying the achievement is deeply cherished by everyone at the club.

Speaking after Al-Arabi’s 3-0 victory over Kuwait Club in the final at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Al-Muzayni praised the players for delivering an excellent performance and fulfilling their promise to secure the trophy. He also commended the efforts of the administrative, technical, and medical staff throughout the preparation period.

He said the club had been eager to win the title to avoid ending the season without silverware, while congratulating all members of the “Green Castle.”

Al-Muzayni added that the board would not have held the players accountable even if the title had not been won, given the challenging circumstances the team faced, including some players’ work commitments.

Al-Arabi coach Nasser Al-Shatti also expressed his delight after guiding the club to a tenth Crown Prince Cup title, praising the players for their commitment and strong performances throughout the tournament.

He said the squad fully deserved the triumph, noting that the team had performed well last season but fell short of titles, before making up for it this year with the cup win.

Al-Shatti added that Al-Arabi was the better side in the final in terms of focus, tactical discipline, and mental strength, which ultimately secured the victory, expressing hope that the team would maintain this level going forward.

Fans of Al-Arabi gathered at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium to celebrate the victory alongside the players, in the presence of club chairman Abdulaziz Ashour and board members.
