Al-Mutairi praises Bashar Abdullah’s contributions to Kuwaiti sports

KUWAIT CITY, July 25: President of the Kuwait Sports Media Coordinators Association Manawer Al-Mutairi praised the efforts of Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Sports Bashar Abdullah, saying Kuwaiti sport has experienced significant progress thanks to his leadership and dedication.

Al-Mutairi said Bashar assumed responsibility during a difficult period but managed to successfully steer the sports sector through challenging circumstances, relying on his extensive experience and background as a former international player for Al-Salmiya, the Kuwait national team, and the Olympic team.

He highlighted Bashar’s commitment to serving youth and sports in Kuwait, noting his continuous follow-up of the Public Authority for Sports’ activities involving clubs and federations, as well as his efforts to represent Kuwait at Arab, regional and international conferences.

Al-Mutairi added that Bashar Abdullah deserves to be appointed Director General of the Public Authority for Sports after the merger, allowing him to continue building on the achievements and progress made in Kuwaiti sports.
