KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: The Supreme Organizing Committee has completed preparations for the Ghasil Show Jumping Championship, set to kick off on January 1 at the Kuwait Equestrian Center, marking a major international equestrian event.

Rider Saleh Al-Musallam stated, “The first day will feature competitions at 130 cm and 140 cm, followed by two more rounds at the same heights on Friday. The championship will conclude with two final rounds at 135 cm and 145 cm.”

Al-Musallam highlighted that over the past decade, Ghasil has become Kuwait’s most widely used car wash service, emphasizing their support for small business owners. He noted that the championship offers riders a larger platform to showcase their skills and compete, providing a premier sporting experience and attracting growing local and international participation.

Nadar Al-Mustafa chairs the judging committee and includes Ibtisam Al-Arouri, Raghad Al-Dabbous, and international judge Ralph Claassen-Hofman. The course design is led by Samir Al-Jawid, assisted by Abdulaziz Al-Ajeel, Abdulaziz Al-Mutawa, and Salem Al-Wuhaib. Arena judging is overseen by Bahraini judge Mohammad Dadallah, along with Ali Al-Rifai, Asma Mal Allah, Bader Al-Haifi, and Dr. Yahya Al-Hudban.

The event is managed by Walid Al-Jassem, with Jassim Al-Khalfan directing the stables, and commentary provided by Ana Malizart.

Al-Musallam extended his gratitude to the Kuwait Equestrian Federation and the Kuwait Equestrian Center for their support, predicting strong competition as riders vie for the top positions.
