KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: Abrar Al-Musallam of the Hunting & Equestrian Club clinched the title of the second Al-Sakab Show Jumping Championship of the season, topping the main sixth round (130 cm) with an impressive time of 36.96 seconds and zero penalties. Italy’s Antonio Morozzo finished runner-up, while Salem Al-Wuhaib secured third place. They were followed by Madi Al-Khamees, Saleh Al-Tabtabaei, and Bandar Jumaa. International rider and course designer Yaacoub Nasrallah oversaw the awards ceremony.
Lajos Sixte dominated both the fourth and fifth rounds at heights of 110 cm and 120 cm, respectively, while Abdulwahab Al-Baloul earned first place in the third round (100 cm).
Messilah Club President Bader Al-Mailam highlighted the remarkable progress witnessed from season to season. With over a decade at the helm of Messilah Club, he praised the ongoing development driven by leaders of Kuwaiti equestrian sport, applauding the significant efforts of local clubs. He noted that the growing number of domestic tournaments has played a key role in preparing riders for international competitions.
Al-Sakab Club President Mohammed Al-Mailam emphasized the strong cooperation among local clubs and with the national equestrian federation, which he said includes dedicated individuals committed to advancing and elevating the sport in Kuwait.
