RIYADH, Nov 11: Kuwait’s karate national team member Mohammed Al-Moussawi advanced to the men’s individual Kata final at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
Al-Moussawi secured his place in the final after delivering a strong performance during the preliminary rounds held yesterday in Riyadh, as part of the sixth edition of the Games.
In Kata events, athletes do not face a direct opponent but perform a sequence of precise and disciplined movements before a panel of judges, who assess their performance based on accuracy, balance, power, rhythm, and concentration.
