Al-Mashaan disputes reasons for Al-Qadisiya’s heavy defeat

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: Dr. Muhammad Al-Mishaan, the coach of Al-Qadisiya team, shared insights into his preference for challenging friendly matches during the team’s camp in Bahrain. The team faced Al-Ahly of Bahrain, currently holding the second position in the league, followed by a match against Al-Khalidiya, the reigning champion of the Bahraini league last season.

Expressing discontent with the team’s 6-1 friendly defeat against Al-Ahly, Al-Mishaan highlighted the team’s commendable performance in the first half. He emphasized the positive aspects, citing the application of technical ideas, numerous opportunities, and possession control, despite the early stage of the camp.

Al-Mishaan acknowledged providing an opportunity for players who had not participated since the beginning of the season, aiming to assess their levels and readiness. This assessment will influence decisions regarding the team’s composition during the winter period. He underscored the importance of building a robust second-row of substitute players, crucial for the team’s competitiveness in various local tournaments.
