KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: Al-Kuwait aims to extend its winning streak in the volleyball league as it faces Al-Sulaibikh at   at 06:30 pm in the Al-Ittihad Hall within the eighth round. Additionally, in the same round, Al-Shabab plays Al-Tadamon at 07:15 pm in the same venue. Meanwhile, Kazma competes against Al-Sahel at 05:15 pm in the latter’s hall.

Currently leading the team standings with 19 points, Al-Kuwait is set to navigate through challenges from teams with varying scores. Sulaibikhat holds 3 points, Al-Shabab and Al-Tadamon enter their match with 6 points each, Kazma boasts 13 points, and Al-Sahel is at the bottom of the standings without any points.

The tournament's format dictates that the top four teams from the preliminary round will qualify for the semi-finals, competing for the coveted title. Employing the international point calculation system, a 3-0 or 3-1 victory awards the winning team three points, with none for the losing side. In the case of a 3-2 win, the victor receives two points, while the loser earns one point.
