Al-Kharafi star in horse jump tourney

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17, (Agencies): Horse rider Ali Al-Kharafi took first and second positions in a horse jumping competition with horses Columbus and Nautilus respectively from Kuwait Center. This competition was the first competition of the Hunting and Equestrian Club.

The rider Bafeil took third and fourth positions with horses Dorameed and Aulan respectively. Members of the temporary committee for the Hunting and Equestrian Club Alaa Al-Sultan, Fahd Al-Sarhan, and Ghazi Al-Jrewi honored the winners.

In the horse jumping competition of height 110-115 cm, the rider Ali Al-Kharafi came first with the horse Cinderella within 35.13 seconds. The horse rider Abdulrahman Al-Fazai came second with the horse Aqurano from Al-Sedrawy Stable within 35.95 seconds. The rider Ahmed Al-Mudahaka with the horse Talesta from Al-Messila Club came third.

In the horse jumping competition of height 90-100 cm for intermediate level, 43 competitors participated and 27 of them managed to jump the obstacles without any errors. In the horse jumping competition of height 70 cm for beginners, 18 competitors out of a total 34 managed to jump the obstacles without any errors.
